EARLY YEARS
UNIVERSITY COURSES
In recent years, the Early Years workforce has begun to change in Britain. An increasing number of practitioners now hold, or are working towards, EYPS or QTS status. Whether you are new to the profession, or have worked in the industry for sometime, studying for a professionally accredited programme in Early Years is a great way to get ahead.

Our experienced and professionally qualified staff will support you to apply key theories in education and child development to your role in your current setting. The team are experienced in supporting those returning to education to make the most of their studies on this intensive and rewarding course. Successful graduates can complete BA top ups in related subjects with the University of Greenwich and gain qualified teacher status.

OUR STUDENTS

Debbie successfully completed the foundation degree in Early Years Education in July 2011. Like many of our students, Debbie completed the qualification whilst working, balancing her studies with a role at St Margaret Clitherow Nursery School, Tonbridge. Debbie is now completing her degree at the University of Greenwich and we are sure she will excel there, as she did at the College.
“Returning to study after many years was a very daunting prospect, however, with the support of the teaching team and that of my many new friends made through the college, I have grown in confidence and achieved far more than I could ever have hoped for. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two years studying at K College and am looking forward to continuing my studies at Greenwich where I will be studying for the BA Hons Early Years (Top Up).”
DEBBIE DWYER
Foundation Degree Early Years
"I am really enjoying developing an indepth knowledge of early years education. My tutors are incredibly supportive and considerate and help me and my colleagues faces the challenges that life throws at us. I have dyslexia and my tutors have spent a lot of time with me helping me secure the extra support I need and making sure that I am not disadvantaged as a result of my disability. I have a lot of respect for the teaching staff and the best thing is I know that they have respect for me and all of their students."
