C&G 2394 & 2395 L3 Inspection and Testing

This course is recommended for all qualifying managers and electricians having direct responsibility for the inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.

This qualification is not approved for use by candidates under the age of 18 and City and Guilds Cannot accept any registrations for candidates in this age group.

Course Content:



Every session must be attended as this is a very intensive level 3 course.

Delegates also need to have a thorough practical working knowledge of BS7671 and be familiar with the IEE Inspection & Testing Guidance notes 3 Booklet. (NB: you will require a copy for this course).

The City & Guilds 2394 covers the Initial Verification of Electrical Installations

The course covers the following areas:
  • The safe isolation process
  • Documentation for initial Verification
  • Inspection, the Electrical Installation
  • Completing the documentation
  • Commissioning the completed installation
The assessments are as follows:
  • Gola on-line multi-choice exam
  • Written exam
  • Practical assessment
The City & Guilds 2395 covers the period Inspection, Testing and Reporting of Electrical Installations.

The course covers the Following areas:
  • The safet isolation process
  • Documentation for the Installation Condition Report
  • Inspection, the Electrical Installation
  • Testing the Electrcial Installation
  • Completing the documentation
  • Interpreting the results
  • Completing the installation condition report and presenting it to the client
The assessments are as follows:
  • Gola on-line multi-choice exam
  • Written exam
  • Practical assessment


(NB: IF YOU DO NOT REGULARLY TEST SINGLE AND THREE PHASE INSTALLATIONS YOU MAY NEED TO UNDERGO SOME PREPARATORY TRAINING BEFORE UNDERTAKING THIS COURSE).

You must be in possession of: C&G 2330 Level 3 or Equivalent C&G 2382 17th Edition IEE Regs
