This course gives the learner a good introduction to both theoretical and practical aspects of the building services sector of the construction industry with a bias towards the electrical trade.
It is a practical course delivered in well-equipped College workshops where students will learn various tasks including:
- Health and safety
- Basic electrical circuits layout and installation
- Basic understanding and application of new technology associated with energy saving
Functional skills of English, Maths and ICT are a key part of the course.

Entry Requirements:

No formal qualifications are required but you need a strong interest for the subject.
All applicants will be interviewed.

Career Options:

After successful achievement you can progress onto the Level 2 Access course in Electrical Installation.
