This qualification is suitable for learners who wish to work in the plumbing sector as a qualified plumber and covers domestic plumbing practice.Learners are required to demonstrate their ability to perform the necessary skills, then assessed against the occupational standards and accredited according to their individual skill level and experience. This qualification is also part of the apprenticeship for the sector.
Course Content:
All units are mandatory
- Maintain the safe working environment when undertaking plumbing work activities
- Maintain effective plumbing working relationships
- Contribute to the improvement of the plumbing work environment
- Install non complex plumbing systems and components
- De-commission non complex plumbing systems
- Maintain non complex plumbing systems and components
- Fault find and diagnose plumbing systems and components
