Multi-crafts Courses
Introduction to Construction
Course Code: 2014
This course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to experience three different trade areas:Painting and decorating
Bricklaying
Carpentry and joinery
You will also study an additional qualification which prepares you for employment.
Functional skills in English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
Assessment is on-going with practical tests at the end of each of the trade areas.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants should have a good school report with GCSEs in English and maths. All applicants will be interviewed and take part in a taster day before being offered a place on the course.Career Options:
After you have successfully completed this course you can go onto a higher level of study or seek employment in one of the three craft directions that have been studied.Course Starting: Monday 10 Sep 2012 - Full Time - Folkestone
