Shopping in Tonbridge
In the enhanced High Street a wide range of shops can be found. More shops are housed in the Angel Walk and Pavillion Arcades which join the High Street to the Angel Complex.
Flea markets are held on Fridays, the Bank Street market on Saturdays and the popular Sunday market is housed opposite Tonbridge station.
Royal Tunbridge Wells - A Shopper's Delight

Many of the towns and villages in the area also offer an interesting and pleasant alternative to shopping in the town centre. Cranbrook and Goudhurst are particularly worth a visit with their good selection of small specialist shops, antique shops and eateries - good places to seek out local specialities or a special reminder of the area to take home.
Farmers' Markets
Local Farmers' Markets take place in Civic Way outside the Town Hall and Museum buildings in Royal Tunbridge Wells on the second and fourth Saturdays in the month and on the first and third Saturdays in the Pantiles.
Late night shopping
Late night shopping in Royal Tunbridge Wells is on Thursdays until 8pm and Sundays 10:30am - 4:30pm in Royal Victoria Place and some shops in Calverley Road and Mount Pleasant Road.
Entertainment and Leisure
There is an indoor sports and fitness centre in Tonbridge and full time students at K College may be offered a discount on the annual membership fee. There are also local gyms, and a large swimming pool in the Castle grounds that has its own health suite. Neighbouring towns also have sports, swimming and recreational facilities. Most sports are catered for in and around Tonbridge, rugby, football, tennis, netball and hockey etc. In addition the College has its own Sports Development Officer who arranges sporting activities for students.

K College Hair and Beauty commercial Salons have been pampering students, staff and members of the public for many years.
We offer an environment of relaxation and tranquillity to help ease day to day stresses and strains. We also offer hair cuts, blow-drys, leg waxing and manicures.
We have modern recently updated salons that are open to the public throughout term time and often during holidays. We offer a fantastic service at excellent value.
