The Dover campus is in a good location and gives the College the opportunity to develop a curriculum offer to match the local skill needs. The Maritime sector provides a key economic catalyst for job creation in the Dover area and therefore the College intends to adapt provision to support this aim. Any development would be subject to funding, so a full and thorough appraisal of all options is needed before the College commits.

• HNW Architects have reviewed the site and options for the property strategy for the short, medium and long term of the College and presented findings to Estates Committee on 3rd May. These include reviewing all land options within the Mid Town Policy by Dover DC.

• Initial short term improvements to campus to be made for 11/12 academic year.

• Refurbishment underway by contractors working with Sound Environments. Planning permission submitted for new sliding entrance doors from Maison Dieu Rd.

• Due for completion Mid August.
