Duration : 2 yearsThis exciting new programme is aimed at students wanting to work in medical science. You will study biological and medical sciences, as well as specialist subjects such as genetics and genetic engineering, medical physics techniques and human physiology. There will be also opportunities to visit laboratories and specialist medical facilities. Subjects include:
- Fundamentals of science
- Working in the science industry
- Scientific investigation
- Scientific practical techniques
- Perceptions of science
- Using mathematical tools in science
Functional skills of English, maths and I.C.T. are a key part of this course.
Entry Requirements:
You need five GCSE at grade A-C including maths, English and double science. Students with a single GCSE in science will be considered on an individual basis. Mature applicants without the formal entry qualifications are welcomed and will be considered individually.Career Options:
