Duration : 2 yearsThis exciting course is aimed at students wishing to work in the field of forensic science. You will learn about the principles and practicalities of working in a scientific setting and the practical applications of Biology, Physics, Psychology and Law. This includes:
- Fundamentals of science
- Working in the science industry
- Scientific investigation
- Scientific practical techniques
- Perceptions of science
- Using mathematical tools in science
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course. Assessment is continuous with coursework involving research and assignment work.
Entry Requirements:
You need five GCSE at grade A-C including maths, English and double science. Students with a single GCSE in science will be considered on an individual basis. Mature applicants without the formal entry qualifications are welcomed and will be considered individually.Career Options:
