Performing Arts - Level 2 BTEC Diploma
Course Code: 1605
Duration : 1 yearBased around acting skills, this course will encourage you to work to your strengths, share ideas and perform in two productions. You will develop your skills base with classes in dance and singing.
The course will provide you with important transferable skills inlcuding team work, communication and research, allowing you to make informed choices about progression to another course at K College, employment or, like many students, on to our Level 3 course. The course consists of practical projects based around units such as:
- Acting
- Jazz dance/dance/musical theatre
- Devising performance work
- Performing arts business
You will be assessed by coursework and performance projects.
Entry Requirements:
To start this course you need four GCSEs (grade D or above) and an audition that demonstrates ability or potential.Career Options:
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma (previously BTEC National Diploma) in Performing Arts (BTEC).Course Starting: Monday 10 Sep 2012 - Full Time - Folkestone
