Practical assessments will measure competence in:

  • Sealing techniques
  • Colour identification and mixing process
  • Preparation and application of wet on wet paint processes and masking techniques
After The Test:

You will receive verbal notification of your assessment outcome at the end of the test period. Should you fail we will provide written guidance on your training needs. If successful you will receive your photo identity card within two weeks direct from IMI Awards.

You will be able to complete a partial re-assessment in those areas in which you were not successful at an additional cost. However, if you are unsuccessful in more than two practical assignments you will need to take the whole assessment again.

Making The Most of Your Accreditation:

Your accreditation is valid for five years from the day of your assessment, after which time you will need to complete a full re-assessment to renew your accreditation.
