Duration : 1 yearThe NVQ is a work-based qualification that assesses skills and knowledge and covers activities that relate to service technicians working on light vehicles (cars and vans) in all types of garages, dealerships and maintenance depots.
You will study: Health and safety; diagnosis and rectification of engine and component faults; chassis systems faults and auxiliary equipment electrical faults.
Assessment will be by portfolio and multiple-choice test.
Entry Requirements:
You need to be in a related work placement or employment to apply for this course. Candidates should have a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject.Career Options:
