Fergus

Level 3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations

Fergus has long been acquainted with the College as he started a Young Apprenticeship at 14. After GCSEs, he studied a Level 1 in Body and Paint Operations and has now progressed up to the Level 3 Diploma.
Fergus says: “I started at College to get away from school and because I prefer “hands-on” learning. I get on a lot better with the College lecturers than with the teachers at school. My attitude is different at College because I am treated differently. Here, I get along with people and there is a good atmosphere.”

IMI Level 2 Motorcycle Student Ryan, 24 from Ashford is in his 2nd year at Dover and his plans are to progress next year on to the IMI Level 3 Motorcycle course. Ryan is thoroughly enjoying his learning experience at K College and this is reflected in his excellent attendance record. He’s not missed a day off college since he started.

Ryan

Ryan was introduced to K College when he attended an open day at the Dover Campus. He was most impressed by the excellent Motorcycle workshop facility together with the College’s range of modern motorcycles that Students learn their craft with.

Ryan comments: “I feel that my confidence has grown since I started and I really like the feeling of getting personnel attention in my learning. I’m looking forward to passing my Level 2 this year and I plan to be back for the Level 3 course in September, which I hope will give me a good chance of getting a job in the Motorcycle Industry”
