Duration : 1 yearThe programme is intended to support the use of photographic techniques to produce creative imagery to a specific commission/assignment. It is structured so that there is continual development in the main subject areas. College attendance is in the afternoon and evening, so you can keep up part-time employment and have time for daytime practical photography.

Your work is assessed by assignment on a continuous basis throughout the programme.
Entry Requirements:
You will have 240 credit points, 120 credits at Merit or Distinction level, achieved on a Foundation Degree or HND programme in Photography or related/relevant discipline.Mature applicants (those over 21 years of age at the start of the programme) without the formal entry requirements are welcomed with a portfolio of work.
An interview with the programme leader will be arranged at the earliest opportunity after receiving your application. You will be asked to bring a
portfolio of your photography to help us assess your suitability.
Career Options:
The BA (Hons) Degree in Photography programme aims to develop a firm foundation of skills, knowledge and creative approaches required both for success in employment and for progression on to post-graduate study in the areas of photography, multi-media and digital imaging.You will need a 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera and standard zoom/lens.
