Electrical/Electronic Engineering BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

The engineering sector continues to suffer from a skills gap and needs to keep up with rapidly developing technologies. This course has been designed to give new entrants to the engineering sector the underpinning knowledge and specific skills needed to meet the needs of modern engineering industries.Your study will include the following units:
- Engineering Project
- Electrical and Electronic Principles
- Principles and Applications of Electronic Devices and Circuits
- Construction and Applications of Digital Systems
- Principles and Applications of Analogue Electronics
- Principles and Applications of Microcontrollers
Students will be set assignments and assessment will be ongoing through the course.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria for entry to the course:- Five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths; or
- A BTEC First Diploma in a relevant subject at Merit or Distinction, plus GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
- A successful interview
Career Options:
