European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Part 1 ECDL Essentials - Level 2
Course Code: 1827
ECDL is an international I.T. qualification that recognisescompetence in the use of business software applications.
The course involves: Part 1: Three Units: Concepts of I.T.; using the computer and file management; information and communication. Part 2: Learning to use spreadsheets, word processors, databases, presentation graphics; and the legal and ethical implications of using I.T.
Assessment is carried out at the end of each module.
For full BCS certification you need to complete both part 1 and part 2.
Entry Requirements:
You need competency in the use of keyboard and mouse with preferably a Level 1 qualification in I.T. Pre-entry assessments will be completed by all prospective students.Career Options:
