On completion of the training, successful candidates will have increased their knowledge and understanding of recognising signs of harm or abuse, ways to reduce likelihood of abuse, responding to suspected or disclosed abuse and national and local context of protection from harm and abuse.Course Content :

- Legislation relevant to Adult Protection including P.O.V.A
- Types of abuse
- Signs and indicators of abuse
- Reaction of victims who have been abused
- Circumstances in which abuse may occur
- Confidentiality and Information sharing protocol
