It is aimed at those working in any business sector that require essential knowledge and understanding of health and safety.
Candidates successfully completing this qualification will understand:

- Hazard and risk and the main causes of harm to workers
- Health, safety and welfare provisions in the workplace
- The importance of following safe systems of work, procedures and rules
