Health and Social Care Level 4 NVQ Diploma

Duration : 1 yearThis course is designed for people who are currently working in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a health and/or social care environment. It is most appropriate for those who have already achieved a minimum of a NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care.
Workshops are held at the college on one day per month to assist applicants in meeting the knowledge requirements, some of which are theory based. Attendance at the monthly workshops is recommended.
Course Content:
There are four mandatory units within this course:
- Use and develop methods and systems in order to communicate, record and report.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy and safe practices in the working environment.
- Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others.
- Develop practices which promote choice, well being and protection of all individuals. Four other modules are then chosen, these can be viewed on the edexcel.org.uk website.

Entry Requirements:
