Sam
BTEC Level 3 in Health & Social Care
After his GCSEs, Sam carried on at his school’s 6th Form, but did not enjoy it. His dream job was to become a youth worker, so he applied to the Level 3 in Health and Social Care, which he decided was the closest and the best course to reach his goal. “I have learned a lot about health and social care; I like the whole subject, especially some units like environmental health which are really interesting. The College is really friendly, you are treated like an adult and you have more freedom; you get good support to help you catch up and be organised, and to apply to university. I would like to go to Cumbria to study Youth Work in Outdoors.”
