Duration : 12 weeksThis 12-week course is designed for adults with NVQ 2 in Hairdressing who want to develop their skills through training to broaden their skills and provide barbering services.
Students will learn about:
- Health and safety
- Client consultation
- Shampooing and conditioning the hair and scalp
- Colouring mens hair
- Cutting men's hair
- Drying hair to complete finished looks for men
- Cutting facial hair using basic techniques
- Salon reception duties
Assessment is carried out by observation of practical skills, written/oral questioning and assignments, all of which are compiled into a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Requirements:
You need to have the NVQ 2 in Hairdressing.3 hours a week for 12 weeks - 6pm to 9pm
