Duration : 1 yearThe course gives you the foundation skills and knowledge in womens hairdressing.
You will learn:
Cutting and styling
Colouring
Perming
Clients consultation
Dressing hair
Plaiting and twisting
Creative design
Health and safety
Functional skills in English, maths and ICT
are a key part of this course.
Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course.
Entry Requirements:
You need at least three GCSEs at grade C or above (including one in English, ICT, maths or science) or a Level 1 in Hairdressing with an internal reference as well as an interest and passion for hairdressing.You should be of smart appearance and have good interpersonal skills. A successful interview will be required.
Career Options:
