GCSE

Level 2 skills are often essential for increasing your scope for further study or employment. You will usually need to have achieved a grade D previously to retake your GCSE in one year.

The one-year GCSE English course is specifically designed for people who need to improve their grade for personal, professional or educational reasons. Level 2 literacy skills are essential for increasing your scope for further study or employment. Our GCSE in English is an exciting course which offers many opportunities to develop your own ideas and abilities using materials specifically designed for learners aged 16 or over. You will need to have achieved a grade D previously to retake your GCSE in one year.

A good grasp of essential mathematical concepts and techniques provides an important background to the study of many other subjects, and a GCSE grade C is a requirement for many careers and Further/Higher Education courses. Science, with its wide applications, forms an essential part of the world we live in. It has therefore become increasingly important to gain a qualification in the subject. For example, a GCSE Science is generally required for careers in medical services, including nursing, and in the public and armed services. You will normally be expected to have achieved a grade D in a single award Science or at least a grade E in a double award Science to cope with the demands of this one year course
