Duration : 6 weeks - Thursdays 2pm to 8pm

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) course is designed to assess the language ability of candidates for which English is not a first language and who need to study or work in English-speaking countries. The IELTS exam is available in 2 formats Academic (requested for higher studies) and General Training (broad social and
educational context). This exam is taken at a local examination centre shortly after completion of the course (details of exam dates given on enquiry)

The course is structured to prepare students for the four components of the IELTS exam (listening, reading, writing and speaking), and help them improve their skills to achieve a higher score. You will be assessed by exam comprising four papers (reading; writing; listening and speaking). The course comprises of 30 hours classroom teaching and 120 hours of distance learning supported by the tutor.

The listening and speaking exams are common to all candidates but two alternate routes may be chosen for reading and writing. Academic reading and writing General Training reading and writing.

IELTS is recognised by employers and universities in most countries, including the U.K., the U.S.A., Australia and Canada. IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP Australia.

Entry Requirements:

This course is suitable for candidates with an ESOL Level 2 and above.
There will be an Interview 1 week before the course start date.
