allow them to progress onto higher level marine engineering qualifications.
You will complete a number of units including:
Developing self and working safely in a marine engineering environment
Marine technology
Servicing and maintenance of marine engines and power units
Marine propulsion systems
Functional skills in English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
Entry Requirements:
You need four GCSEs at grades D or above, including two from maths, science and English or a satisfactory pass in a marine technology qualification. Adult learners may gain entry onto the course by demonstrating appropriate industry experience.Career Options:
