The programme is aimed at those working in/ seeking employment in the Engineering sector.
Alongside key concepts in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, you will also study the supervisory/managerial aspects to the role of the professional engineer. This will include project management, some budgetary and financial content, along with legislative, quality and personnel concepts that may be appropriate.

Assessment is mainly by coursework with the possibility of a few time-constrained assessments that are completed in class.

Entry Requirements:

You should ideally be employed in an appropriate industrial organisation and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, such as an Extended Diploma. Enquiries from mature students with relevant work experience and alternative Level 3 qualifications are encouraged.

Career Options:

Upon successful completion, you may seek career progression in the Engineering sector or a range of employment opportunities outside of the sector.
