This 2-year programme leads to a career in post-compulsory teaching or training (vocational and academic subjects) and QTLS status. It comprises of 6 modules: Introduction to teaching and learning; planning for assessing and learning; theory in professional practice, professional development; curriculum studies and professional investigation.You need to be suitably qualified in the subject you want to teach (i.e. carpentry, hairdressing, business, etc.).
In addition you must possess a good standard of written and spoken
English, good interpersonal skills, commitment and enthusiasm.
Entry Requirements:
You must also be able to arrange 100 hours (minimum) of suitable teaching practice for the 2 year programme.Entry is by interview when fees can be discussed.
