Coordinate Special Needs Provision is a 10 week course designed to provide the learner with the competence required to work as a special educational needs coordinator in early years settings. The unit also assesses your ability to support and advise colleagues.Learning Outcomes:
1.Understand the role of the special educational needs coordinator
2.Be able to coordinate the observation, recording, assessment and planning to meet the individual requirements of children with special educational needs
3.Be able to engage with children with special educational needs and their carers
4.Be able to coordinate, support and advice colleagues working with children who have special educational needs
Entry Requirements:
Current appropriate Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent, and employment in an appropriate setting, working at minimum Level 3.Course Starting: Wednesday 03 Oct 2012 - Part Time - Tonbridge
