Dover Painters Take Top Places in Regional Competition
Two young painters from Dover won the top two prizes in the Johnstone’s Young Decorator of the Year 2010 competition, held at the College’s Folkestone campus. Only one mark separated the two for the top prize of £100. Aaron Hamilton, 21, from Aycliffe in Dover came first with Michael Chalmers, 20, from Elvington, Dover, a very close runner-up winning £30. All competitors won a tool bag with £30 worth of tools for taking part.
