This qualification is tailored to suit your needs.
You will study towards an Award or Certificate in Hospitality and Catering at Entry 3 or Level 1, based on your level of learning.
You will develop basic food preparation and food and drink service techniques working within a training kitchen and restaurant with the majority of hours spent on functional skills of English, maths and ICT and personal social development.
Subjects studied also include health and safety, healthy eating and effective teamwork.

Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course.

Entry Requirements:

You will have successfully completed one year on K Colleges Prep4Life or Springboard programmes, or will have four GCSEs (grade D-G), or an equivalent qualification. All applicants will be
interviewed.

Career Options:

After successful completion of the course, you can progress onto a relevant Level 1 or 2, depending on level achieved.
