One of the largest employers in the country, the catering and hospitality sector offers a wide range of careers paths. Our past students have found progression can be rapid and are often in a position of responsibility very early on in their careers. You will get to study in training kitchens and a working restaurant that is open to the public.
Sufyan
Level 2 Multi-skilled Catering and Hospitality
Sufyan was used to help out in his father restaurant and as he enjoyed it, decided to get a professional qualification to get a head start in his chosen career. “I thought I should go to College to learn more about the catering industry. I did my Level 1 here and found it really good, as I enjoy the practical side of things like serving customers and cooking. It’s my dream to become a Head Chef. The teaching staff are great – they make sure we know why we should and shouldn’t do things – they demonstrate instead of just talking at you.”
