Duration : 1 yearThis course is delivered in the Colleges beauty therapy salons and comprises 10 units including:
- Principles and practices for complementary and alternative therapies
- Anatomy, physiology and pathology
- Business practices in body massage, aromatherapy and reflexology
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
You will be required to gain work experience and provide case studies to build your portfolio.
Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants need four GCSEs (grade A*-C) including double science or relevant experience and will be interviewed. Enrolment will be subject to a successful interview.Career Options:
