Level 3 VRQ Diploma and Beauty Therapy Treaments (VTCT)

Duration : 1 yearThis course is designed to build on Level 2 qualification to include advanced facial treatments and treatments to the body. You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and anatomy and physiology and develop your skills as a beauty therapist to enable you to work in careers such as cruise ships, beauty salons, spas, sports and leisure centres, hotels, or running your own business.
The course consists of (not limited to) :
- Body massage
- Facial and body electrical treatments
- Epilation
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
You will train to commercial standards within the professionally equipped College salons.
You will be assessed by portfolio, examinations and performance of commercial treatments.
Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Level 2 in Beauty Therapy.Enrolment will be subject to a successful interview.Career Options:
