Duration : 1 yearThis professionally recognised VTCT qualification consists of learning all aspects of anatomy and physiology of the nail, hand and lower arm.
You will become competent in the practical techniques of manicure, nail extensions and nail art. On completion of the nail extensions unit, you will be fully competent in the application, maintenance, repair and removal of the acrylic system.
Assessment is mainly through practical observation, working on clients and through the assembly of a personal portfolio. Written papers are also part of the assessment process.
Entry Requirements:
You need 4 GCSEs (grade DG) or a relevant Level 1 to apply.Career Options:
On completion of the course, you will be able to gain professional indemnity insurance and practise in professional salons.Courses will run dependant on numbers, and location may change
