Professional practice is reinforced throughout the course through exhibitions and vocational scenarios.
Based in bespoke fine art studios you will have open access to give you the freedom to develop a specialism or work across a variety of areas. Learning is supported through regular tutorials with tutors who remain practicing artists.
You will work on producing a range of fine art in different mediums such as painting, sculpture, drawing, print making, digital video, photography
and installation.
The course includes regular visits to galleries and studios in London and other national locations to see how professional and historical artwork exists in both commercial and cultural settings.

Entry Requirements:

You need five GCSEs at grade C or above, ncluding an art-based subject and English Language, or a BTEC Level 2 in a relevant subject at Merit or Distinction plus Level 2 qualifications in English and maths. You will also need to bring a portfolio of artwork to interview.
Other qualifications will be considered.

Skills developed in fine art production are very transferable; artists are very good problem solvers and think in very divergent ways. Following successful completion you can progress onto a range of creative higher education courses or start a career in the creative industries.
