Duration : 1 year

The programme will enable you to specialise in your chosen design field. As well as building a portfolio of design work you will work towards developing a critical understanding of your
creative practice. Through looking at design as both an industrial field and an aspect of visual culture the course addresses the ways in which communication is controlled and influenced.
Students are encouraged to apply their knowledge and skills in a creative exploration of their specialism.

Graphic Design
Illustration
Web Design
Animation
Photography

You will need to complete four modules to achieve the qualification. These are assessed at the end of each module assignment. A dissertation and an end-of-year degree show are among the tasks you will need to complete.

Entry Requirements:

This course is for people who have an HND in a relevant creative discipline with at least six units at Merit grade or above. All applicants are interviewed and will need to provide a portfolio of work.

Career Options:

You can progress onto a relevant MA or enter employment as a graphic or web designer, 3D and animation, games design, advertising, video and post production, packaging, branding, or establish your own design company.
