Management & Leadership - Level 5 CMI Diploma (online)

The Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is designed for practicing middle managers who wish to develop a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge required at this level including core management skills and practices. These qualifications focus on your personal development of management capabilities and competencies.The course is mainly delivered online offering a highly flexible approach to learning.
You will be assigned a management mentor and an assessor to guide you through your study choices giving you all the support you need to achieve success. You will also have access to a superb suite of online interactive learning resources which you can draw upon 24 hours a day.
The qualification includes mandatory* and optional units: *Personal development as a manager and leader, *Information based decision making, , *Resource management, *Conducting a management project *Meeting stakeholder and quality needs. You will also need to complete 4 optional units choosing from: Performance management Financial control, Marketing planning, Project development and control, Human resource development, Managing recruitment and selection, Being a leader, Leadership practice, Introduction to management and leadership, Operational risk management.
To achieve a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership you need to successfully complete any combination of units to a minimum of 13 credits, usually this will be no more than 3 units.
Course fees include affiliate membership of the Chartered Management Institute giving you full access to a range of specialist resources and opportunities to network locally with like minded management professionals.
The nature of assessment will be agreed between you and your assessor but will focus on management reporting with a practical work based orientation. Other forms of assessment such as professional discussion or making a presentation may be used to assess some parts of modules. In all cases, a bespoke flexible approach will be designed to meet your needs. The qualification can be completed at a pace that suits you, typically between 2 and 6 months.
