Motivated, committed and high performing teams make all the difference to an organisations on-going success and this workshop is designed to give managers, team leaders and supervisors the tools and techniques they need to maintain and increase the motivation and performance of their team and the individuals in it.Motivating people to achieve a common vision is one of the most important challenges facing todays managers. When time and money are in short supply, the need for organisations to retain their best people and develop their full potential is paramount.
Objectives of the Course:
This course will show how line managers are key players in achieving this and help them create a team in which people want to work and achieve the best results.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Relate motivational theories to their role, whether as line manager, team leader or supervisor
- Use aspects of motivational theory to meet different individual needs
- Show how communication is a key factor in building a motivated and high performing team
- Describe the links between motivation and employee retention
- Create a Personal Action Plan designed to increase their teams motivation
