The ability to sell is the life blood of all organisations. The art of persuasion, listening, understanding and closure is an all important skill to maximise revenue, and gain and retain customers. Sales skills need to be adapted to a wide variety of circumstances, customers and products. More staff are involved in 'sales' beyond the sales teams than is normally recognised with an organisation. Most staff have the ability to influence a sale and all of them 'sell' the organisation as a whole. Selling is possibly one of the oldest professions in the world and trading between different countries opened up the world.Objectives of the CourseThis one day course is designed for delegates with little or no sales experience or those for whom sales is a part of the job role. The course will introduce delegates to basic selling skills, enabling them to prepare for and conduct a sales meeting, recognise and handle basic objections and close the sale. The delegates will complete exercises and have the opportunity to practice within the workshop
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Prepare effectively for the sale
- Clearly identify customer needs/wants
- Recognise and overcome some common objections
- Close the sale
