Duration : 1 yearThis course combines administration and text processing skills with legal units to provide you with flexible, transferable skills leading to roles as an administrator, secretary or personal assistant within a legal environment.
Subjects studied include:
- Advanced audio and word processing for business and legal documents- Evaluation of ICT in a legal office
- Legislation and the legal system
- Roles and responsibilities
- Team working
- Event co-ordination
Functional skills of English and ICT are a key part of this course.
The course is suitable for post A Levels or mature students, particularly as part of a gap year, or for those returning to work.
Entry Requirements:
You need appropriate AS/A Levels, a Level 2 course at Merit level or an equivalent qualification. You need to have GCSE English at grade C or above and preferably GCSE maths at grade C.Mature students without the formal entry requirements are welcome and will be considered on an individual basis.
Career Options:
