Duration : 1 yearA level 1 Certificate in Business Administration combined with a Literacy course is an excellent starting point for you if English is your second language. This course will prepare you for a wide range of potential career opportunities ranging from business administration, retail, customer service, reception and sales in the private, public and voluntary industry sectors.
The course will help you to learn or improve your existing office skills as well as developing your use of English language. The business elements will help you to improve your ICT skills, administration abilities and business knowledge. You will develop your own personal organisation, customer service and communication skills. The course will also cover your legal rights and responsibilities at work giving you much greater confidence in the work place.
A wide range of assessment methods will be used including practical work, group discussions and projects.
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements.All applicants will be interviewed.
Career Options:
On successful completion, you can progress to a Level 2 in Business, Administration or other relevant subject.Tuition is free to those under the age of 19 as of Sept 11 however a 40 fee for trips and 25 fee for materials is required
