Information and Communication Technology AS Level (AQA)

Course Code: 1895

This course provides a general background to I.C.T. and the use of at least two software packages at an advanced level. It demonstrates a breadth to your interest for eventual university entrance and is a good base for professional specialised I.C.T. training.

The course consists of 3 modules:
1. Nature, role and context of information
2. Management and manipulation of information
3. Use of software to solve a problem

Entry Requirements:

To study 3 AS levels, students need at least 5 GCSEs grade C and above, including a B in English. There may be additional subject entry criteria.


Career Options:

After successful completion of the course, you can progress onto the A2 Level Information and Communication Technology.
