Accounting AS Level (AQA)

This is a popular, successful course which complements AS and A2 Business Studies, A Level Business (VCE) and the Certificate in Financial Studies.The syllabus covers 4 modules. Students choose EITHER module 1 OR 2 and both modules 3 and 4.
1.Financial accounting, records, VAT, balance sheets
2.Published accounts of limited companies
3.Determination of income, stock valuation, depreciation
4.Management and decision-making, costs, budgets, break-even analysis
Each module is assessed by an examination of 1 hour. You may take one exam in January and two the following June.
Entry Requirements:
To study 3 AS levels , students need at least 5 GCSEs grade C and above, including a B in English. There may be additional subject entry criteria.Career Options:
