Duration : 1 yearThe course is aimed at people who want to pursue a professional career in the construction industry. It is recognised as a formal progression path towards gaining higher level qualifications in a wide range of professional careers within construction.
The course covers modules in:

- The built environment
- Materials in construction
- Science
- Construction design technology
- Maths
- Health and safety
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
Assessment is by internal tests.
Entry Requirements:
You need four GCSEs (grade A*-C), an Apprenticeship or relevant work experience.Career Options:
