Carpentry & Joinery Level 1 Diploma in Basic Construction Skills - Woodwork (City & Guilds)

This course is a first stepping stone towards a career in working in wood. You will learn and practise a range of skills in wood occupations.During the course you will develop skills which will prepare you for entering employment in a construction or a furniture-related craft. In addition you will achieve an Employability and Personal Development qualification.
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
There will be practical assessments, course work and exams.
Entry Requirements:
No formal qualifications are required to start this course. There will be a pre-entry assessments for maths and English to attain a Level 1 result. All applicants will be interviewed.Career Options:
