During this course you will learn and practise a range of skills in first and second fix and structural site carpentry tasks by completing a series of practical projects, supported by job knowledge
gained in the classroom as well as modules of study.
Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
There will be practical assessments, knowledge tests and exams.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants need to have achieved a Level 1 carpentry/joinery qualification or have relevant experience and knowledge in this subject. There are also pre-entry assessments and an interview.

Career Options:

After you have successfully completed the course you can go on to study a Level 3 Diploma, or an Apprenticeship or enter full-time employment.
