Bench Joinery and Woodmachining - Level 2 Construction Diploma (CSkills Awards)
Course Code: 1766
During this course you will learn and practise a range of skills in bench joinery and wood machining, making doors, windows, stairs, units and will complete a series of practical projects, supported by job knowledge gained in the classroom as well as modules of study.Functional skills of English, maths and ICT are a key part of this course.
Please note that certain modules may differ, depending on where the course is being taught.
Please note that Wood Machining is not offered as part of the evening delivery.
This course will assist you in gaining entry into one of the trades studied. There will be practical assessments, knowledge tests and exams.
Entry Requirements:
You need to have achieved a Level 1 carpentry/ joinery qualification, five GCSEs (grade A*-C) or have relevant experience and knowledge in this subject. There are also pre-entry assessments and an interview.Career Options:
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto a Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Woodmachining or Bench Joinery or enter full-time employment.Course Starting: Monday 10 Sep 2012 - Full Time - Folkestone
