Vice Principal Finance and Resources

Terry has worked in the world of public sector finance for over 20 years, and previous to that worked in banking for five years. He is a qualified accountant, bringing financial expertise and experience from local government where he was responsible for housing, leisure and local authority capital projects. Seeking a new challenge in 2002, he joined Epping Forest College, where he started to shape their new redevelopment scheme at their campus in Loughton, Essex. Wishing to pursue his career in general further education, he joined West Kent College in 2005 as Assistant Principal, Finance & Funding and has recently been elevated to Vice Principal.

Terry’s role at the newly-merged K College is to look after all income and expenditure that passes through the College, from petty cash floats and mileage claims to invoices relating to the property strategy including the redevelopment of the Tonbridge campus.  The Finance team also ensures that all College systems and records comply with the numerous auditing processes to which the Further Education sector is subject.

Terry also has responsibility for Estates and the property strategy across the College, as well as IT Services and Management Information Systems (MIS).
