Bill has worked in education since 1978 and has experience in the Secondary, Further and Higher education sectors. His commitments have included 6 years part-time inspection work in the earlier stage of his career in F.E. as a lecturer in business and management. Bill was one of the first 10 Principals to complete the ‘Principals Qualifying Programme’ with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL). He was appointed Principal and Chief Executive at West Kent College in 2002, oversaw a successful merger with South Kent College in April 2010 and now leads the merged K College. He is currently leading the 'Skills' workstream for the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).
