Governors

From the 1st April 2010, the governing body (the Board) comprises 20 members, three of whom will be members of staff and two of whom are student members.

Between them, the governors have extensive experience relevant to the management of a multi-million pound business. Their expertise includes direct responsibility for financial administration, personnel recruitment and development, as well as education, marketing and business expansion.

Their knowledge has been gained at senior level in a wide variety of public and private sector organisations in both the UK and overseas. The industry and commercial areas in which they have worked are of relevance to K College and the courses it offers.

The direct and current experience of K College's governors in both business and education is enhanced by their different levels of involvement in the community. This includes those who have served as school and college governors, membership of business associations, chambers of trade, professional bodies, trusteeship of funds, local committees, and public organisations.
